Technical Inspection, #1
January 9th, 2009 FSE Cafeteria
- Each
car must pass inspection by the Official Race Committee
on Tech Night before it may compete.
- Tech
Night is January 9. This is not a Pack Night.
- Bring
extra materiel such as weights and screws or glue so that
fine tuning with the official scale can be made
- The
scale used at the race is the official scale, and all cars
must pass weigh-in on the official scale.

If a car does not pass inspection, the racer will be informed
of the problem and given an opportunity to fix his car and
present it to the Derby Committee at a time to be determined.

After Technical inspection the car will be impounded until
race day.

Matinecock
District Pinewood Derby

This
year's Matinecock District Pinewood Derby Championship will be held
[tba] at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles Lobby in Hauppauge
(Route 347 / 454). Races will start at 9:30 am and will feature
the top four racers from each Pack in the District. Please come
out and support your local Pack Champions!
Registration
fee is $4.00 per car prior to [tba]. Late registration fee is $6.00
and must be approved by the Derby Chairman.
Cars
will be "impounded" for the race at the [tba] Roundtable.
Fees for the event will be receipted at that time - please make
your checks payable to "Suffolk County Council, BSA".
